Financed with Tax-Exempt Bonds, Alta Crossing is a 258-unit mixed-income 80/20 community located along Sam Houston Parkway in northeast Houston. Eighty percent of the units are made available to market-rate households and 20% are affordable to those earning no more than 50% of the area median income. The community includes a number of amenities, including an on-site dog park and valet trash pickup. Financed with tax-exempt bonds, the community is a joint effort with Wood Partners, the Harris County Housing Finance Authority, Citibank and Westplan Investors.
